VeganMoFo – Sunday Pasta Dinner

I think it’s been a month since I made a Sunday dinner. I decided on pasta, but it wasn’t very Italian. Here’s a quick rundown of what I did:

Gluten free noodles, which I am now able to get from my neighborhood market.

Celine’s Creamy Pumpkin Almond Sauce - it's soooo yummy!

Roasted veggies for the pasta – peppers, onions, tomatoes, squash, carrots, and broccoli, most of them from the farmers market.

All served up on the table – mmmmm, so so good, especially with Celine’s fantastic sauce!

On the side we had Pear Pecan Salad (from the ppk challenge). Thanks for all the nice comments on that post!

And Roasted Brussels Sprouts that I served with the last of the Jezebel Sauce.

Here’s my pretty plate.

For our treat I made another test recipe for Ricki. Here are her fabulous Cinnamon Buns, waiting to be pulled apart and happily devoured, which they were.

Finally, I must thank Usha of Veg Inspirations for bestowing me with the Rockin’ Girl Blogger Award! Thank you, Usha! (btw, she also awarded Ricki) Now go check out Usha’s blog and her recent post for some fantastic looking rice crackers!

How did I miss Celine's sauce. Wow! I am excited because I wanted something pumpking! Congrats on your award. Super! Also, I am so jealous for those brussels sprouts. I can't wait for them to hit our stores.

Oh My! I have to try that yummmmmy looking pumpkin sauce. It looks divine - and I will say it again - the things you do with pears....ahhhhh soooo yummy looking.

My dr. thinks I might have a glutten alergy - so the glutten free noodles are a welcome sight. Thanks for the post. :)

the roasted veggies look absolutely amazing, and the brussle sprouts are my favorite! i just love them so much. i really need to make some now, especially after seeing how awesome yours are! mmmmmmmmmmm!

oh man, i've wanted to try this recipe i have for cinnamon buns, but i'm still waaaaay too intimidated. are they very difficult to make? they seem a little time consuming, which is fine by me, but i'm just worried i'll mess them up or something. yours look so tasty though, i might have to give them a go. thanks! :D

Your dinner looks wonderful.

Maybe I should jot a recipe down for individual sized cinnamon buns. i keep seeing them popping up on blogs and that makes me crave them, but I don't want to make them because I am not to be trusted around them. ;-)

Yum! I always love your food.

*sigh* seems like all I eat is grains and nut butters. I haven't had a salad in ages, I miss them.
