Breakfast for Dinner, etc.

Tonight for dinner I made Ben's Cinnamony Almond Apple Pancakes. They are incredibly delicious. Please look for the recipe here. http://adecadentconspiracy.blogspot.com/. I made nine HUGE pancakes from the recipe. With the pancake I had a breakfast taco made with my new hemp tortillas.

I tried baking the hemp tortilla like the bagboy had suggested to me, but it was too crispy and I wound up with a taco. Here's the first baked tortilla and taco.

My favorite thing I made this week was Brussels sprouts curry. I shredded the sprouts, and added in onion, chickpeas, and a little spinach, along with a light curry sauce. Very yummy.

This meal I recycled my pumpkin hummus lasagna. I removed the icky spelt noodles and put the lasagna guts over rice noodles.

And lastly, a just my size peanut butter and banana smoothie.

Have a great rest of the week!

Wow, those pancakes look supper yummy!

Pumpkin hummus, that is funny. I picked some up at the whole grocer a few weeks back. (They make their own products at the deli and sell them sometimes.) Unfortunately, I despised it. Though, my guess is that I would like it if I added all the spices you did!

Yay, vegan cupcakes!

The brussel sprout curry sounds delicious but it's breakfast time for me right now so I'm drooling over the smoothie.

The curry sounds great and has ingredients I always have around so I am in the middle of making something very similar for tonight :)

Have taken a few days Blog leave to catch up on tons of ebooks I downloaded and haven't read but will hopefully get back on track this weekend.

Yum, yum, and yum. I wanna try hemp tortillas! In california, my favorites were sprouted grain ezekiel ones, but I can't find them in NY, so we end up having regular corn or (gasp!) white tortillas. So not healthy! Love your curry filling too. What a great breakfast!

You know, I love the idea of those hemp tortillas, and have bought them a few times, but they are so sticky and crumbly I'd rather take my chances with the un-bendable, brittle rice tortillas.

Hey, what am I saying, I can eat gluten again! (thank heavens!)

Your salad looks like the ones we have at my house - a salad is just not a salad without sunflower seeds, and gomashio/gomaiso for me.

Wow, you've made some AWESOME stuff lately! I would love a bowl of that pumpkin soup I saw earlier... but then again, your peanut butter and banana smoothie would really hit the spot too. I wish I could jump through my computer screen right now, especially since I haven't cooked anything interesting in a week or so.

The pancakes look great! I also love your idea of the lasagna "guts" Lol! Better than tossing it, or eating it even though you weren't crazt about the spelt noodles.

I love the smoothie! Cute little cup too!!

So delicious! I love your idea for brussel sprout curry. No matter how I cook them, I just can't get into them, but I adore curry so I'll have to give that a try.

I just love breakfast for dinner. We haven't had that in awhile...

Mmm...hemp tortillas sound good. Have you ever tried the "Fat Flush" tortillas? They're made from all sprouted grains and I think they taste really delicious. Those pancakes look great, too - I love breakfast for dinner! And that smoothie is making me rethink my whole "no tropical fruits" thing - peanut butter banana is one of my all-time favorites!

Damn! I read this post at work and I was sure I had posted a comment but I guess I got distracted halfway through writing it.

I love how my pancakes are taking over the blogs :) hehehe. So did you make them with a GF pancake mix? Do you do spelt or not? Just curious :)

I love PB & B Smoothies; I loooooved those... soooo gooood! I might try the alkaline version of that again soon; Almond butter and banana and see how it turns out...

Hugz!
