3-Minute Fudge!
(adapted from about.com)
Ingredients:
1 ¾ c. powdered sugar, sifted
¼ c. cocoa, sifted
2 T. nondairy milk
¼ c. margarine or coconut oil
2 t. vanilla extract
¼ c. chopped nuts, optional
Directions:
In a glass bowl, combine the sugar and cocoa. Stir in milk and margarine (it will be lumpy). Cook in microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Add in vanilla and nuts, if using. Spread into small loaf pan. Let cool, then cut into squares.
This was really good! It’s very creamy, although not perfectly smooth. And it was pretty sweet. I think next time I’ll use peanut butter instead of coconut oil and it will be just right. I cooled mine in the fridge a few minutes. It’s not as pretty when you do that, but hey, if you make 3-minute fudge, you need chocolate NOW!

FUUUUUUUUDGE!!!
My answer: not much! I was actually planning on making a no-bake chocolate tart this weekend, so we must be on the same wavelength :) Considering my budget, I might have to skimp a little on the ingredients, though. Thanks for this!
I can't even read the ingredients in this recipe. Why? Because then I know I'd just go make it, and eat it. Fudge in 3 minutes??? Somebody, stop me. . . .
Oh my! If you keep posting these recipes I'm going to have to buy an entire new wardrobe of clothes!
blowing you lots of kisses!
I hope you know how much I love these super-fast chocolate fixes you post about :)
My first answer was going to be: "Nothing is better!"
But you proved me wrong!
great idea! Dangerous, but great.
I don't have a microwave so I can't have this kind of fun. Unless, of course, I take the ingredients to work and make it there! Thinkin' about it...
Oh boy! I don't have a microwave FORTUNATELY! lol.. but I like the peanut butter idea.. hmmm.. I'll bet I could figure out something with peanut butter and chocolate too..
3-minute fudge is going to be so perfect when we hit the road! Sometimes all we have is a microwave! I bet it's awesome with peanut butter too!
Mmmm 3 minutes to chocolatey goodness? That looks fantastic!
WHAT!?!?! I think I have all of these ingredients in my kitchen. Excuse me while I race in there and make a batch of this delicious fudge!
Hello, fudge in 3 minutes?!?! You ROCK!
yummy yummy yummy :)
Very, very tempting!
Very, very tempting!
ooooooooooooh! i can't wait to try this out! mmmmmmmmmm!
I'm not sure if I should thank you or run from my computer...
That looks wonderful! I'm assuming the measurement for the margarine is 1/4 cup?
Yes, Susan G, and thank you - how embarrassing. I've fixed the post to read 1/4 c margarine.
Talk about instant gratification- Yum!
You deserve a big, glittery, gold star for this!
Fudge in 3 minutes...Yum :-)
I shouldn't have looked at this, it made me crave chocolate in less than three seconds. :D
Brilliant! I'm taking the kids to a playdate on Friday and really can't be bothered baking - 3-minute fudge? Check!
I'm drooling! :P (This is SO a recipe for my lacto-ovo fudge loving friend, but she doesn't have a strong enough taste for chocolate! :0)
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. And I'm so happy I found yours in time to enter your juicer contest. I'll be trying some of your recipes soon. Fudge--YUM.
Can't believe I missed this before now!!
This looks soooo good and three minutes is about how long I want to wait when I get a sweet tooth going on!
Awesome recipe - thank you.
